“This painting depicts the road in front of the house we rented when we started our family. The children are our two oldest, Andrew and Aleesha (both adults now). This was one of the first oil paintings I was really happy with when I began using oils after almost 20 years of using watercolor exclusively. I painted in a slightly ‘looser’ fashion when I began using oils, as I was hoping to achieve a more painterly look. The title was something that I hoped would appeal to the idea that no matter what happens in life, our sibling relationships can remain strong.” -Steven Kozar
