“Where Hayward Drive turns into Arboretum Drive, this bridge goes over Wingra Creek as it leads into the University of Wisconsin Arboretum, which is a very beautiful part of Madison, Wisconsin. I had visited and photographed this location several times, but on this calm autumn morning, I specifically drove here, thinking the color and reflections would be perfect. I was very excited when I arrived, because I could tell immediately that an excellent painting was possible.
